Week 5 recap
Students participated in the first week of Tech camp!
Coding ozobots!
Students learned how to code ozobots and programmed them to roll over and do commands on different colors and shapes. They created their own storylines to create paths for the ozobots to travel down and had them change colors to camouflage with whatever color they are rolling over!
RECREATION/SPORTS AT BIG RUN GYM COMPLEX W/ CHASE HURLOW
Students started each session with warm-ups and stretches, and then played jedi ball and silent ball with dodgeballs. They also did a lot of social and emotional learning (SEL) focusing on how to lose with a good attitude, playing fair and following rules with integrity and honesty, and how to take turns and have self control.

Students are going to COSI on Wednesday, July 24!
Quest Store
Students earned Quest Dollars throughout the week based on respectful behavior. Our focus this summer is RESPECTING our leaders, other students, ourselves, buildings and supplies. At the end of the week, students visited our Quest Store and bought prizes with their Quest Dollars. They are learning financial literacy: how to count money, get change back and saving money to buy larger items vs. instant gratification.

Students were provided chobani smoothies, z bars, fruit cups and apple juice for breakfast. For lunch they had chicken sandwiches, rice and chicken with salad and chicken shawarma wraps. During lunch they also participated in structured play time where they got to play board games such as connect four, uno, matching games, jenga and magnetic building blocks.
